INDIVIDUALS
Consultation fee:
$155

Concession rate: $120

COUPLES
Consultation fee: $185 before 5pm $205 after 5pm $230 weekend

Concession fee: $145 before 5pm $165 after 5pm $205 weekend

Fees are GST inclusive
Session length: 50 minutes


Concession rates are available for low income earners with a low income health care card, full-time students, and pensioners. Some other financial circumstances may be considered- please ask.
 

PHONE/ONLINE SESSION
Phone and Zoom sessions are also available. The same fees as above will apply.

REPORTS
Sometimes clients request reports or letters. These are charged at the same hourly rate as my sessions, with a minimum of one hour being charged.


PAYMENT METHODS
Payment is required at the time of your consultation.
Payment is via Cash, Direct Bank Transfer, or PayID
 

CANCELLATION FEES
There is a fee for non-attendance, or for cancellation of appointments with less than 24 hour's notice.
Giving more than 24 hours' notice allows the appointment time to be opened up to another client.


REBATES
Medicare:
Fees for seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist are not rebated by Medicare. 
In addition, no GP referral is required, and no mental health diagnosis will be documented in your public health record.

NDIS
I am able to work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.


PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE:
I carry provider numbers for the following private health insurances:

Medibank Private
Medibank members whose Extras products include “Mental health support” can claim a benefit for counselling consultations up to their annual limit.
BUPA
Rebates for counselling services are available for all Bupa members who have the appropriate level of Extras cover. Counselling Rebates are a part of Extras products under the heading ‘Mental Health’.
ahm
ahm members whose Extras products include “Psychology and Counselling” can claim a benefit for Counselling consultations, up to their annual limit.
HCF
Members with eligible extras cover can claim consultations with an HCF-approved counsellor.
Police Health  
Extras cover provides rebates up to a combined annual maximum of $850 per person. Members are able to access any unused annual maximum from the previous year.
Emergency Services Health Fund
Extras cover provides rebates up to a combined annual maximum of $850 per person. Members are able to access any unused annual maximum from the previous year.
St Luke’s Health
St Luke’s offers rebates for counselling to members who hold their Super Extras cover.
Phoenix Health Fund
Phoenix offers counselling rebates for services for members with Everyday or Complete Extras cover.
AHRG (Australian Regional Health Group)
CUA Health

Other Some other health insurances and employer funds provide a rebate for seeing a counsellor. Please contact your insurer regarding this.
